Javier Tola
Bachelor in business administration and Masters’ degree in financial economy from ICADE University. Several courses and seminars at business schools in Madrid, Geneva, Lausanne and Brussels.
Javier started working in the media industry in 1994, Head of Production department at Cadena COPE (1998-2002), the 2nd radio network in Spain, Head of Radio News and Sports at the European Broadcasting Union (2004-2007), Sports Director at TVE 2007-2008 (biggest TV broadcaster in Spain) and, since 2009, Managing Director at Simply Sport SL, agency specialized in sports rights distribution.
Javier has been Member of the Jury “Príncipe de Asturias”, the main Spanish award for sport, member of the Executive Committee of ADO (Spanish Olympic sports Association) and Executive Director of the coverage of the Beijing Olympic Games for TVE. Such operation has been awarded with the “TP de Oro”, “Spanish TV Academy best production award” and “International Press Club Award”.
Javier is lecturer in different business schools and universities worldwide.
